Bernardo Pasquini studied under Antonio Cesti in 1650, during his youth in Tuscany. This early musical training under the established Baroque composer provided Pasquini with foundational instruction before he later moved to Rome and began his own distinguished career as a composer, harpsichordist, and organist.
