Vladimir Horowitz studied under Felix Blumenfeld at the Kiev Musical College, which from September 1913 was transformed into the Kiev Conservatory. Horowitz was among Blumenfeld's pupils during his Kiev period, and he studied with him there until graduating in 1920.
