Raimund Dreyschock studied under Friedrich Wilhelm Pixis at the Prague Conservatory, where Pixis, a prominent German violinist and pedagogue, taught from 1811 until his death in 1842. Dreyschock received his formal violin training there, becoming one of Pixis’s noted pupils and benefiting from the influential teaching that helped shape the emerging Czech violin school.
