Georgi Conus → Lev Oborin

Between 1921 and 1926, Lev Oborin studied composition under Georgy Conus at the Moscow Conservatory. While pursuing studies in two specialties, piano and composition, Oborin attended Conus's class before continuing his composition training with N. Y. Myaskovsky and G. L. Catoire.
