Heinrich Neuhaus is listed as one of the teachers of Eliso Virsaladze. During his visits to Tbilisi, Neuhaus consulted the students of her grandmother, Anastasia Virsaladze. He listened to the young Eliso perform on multiple occasions, providing her with advice, critical remarks, and encouragement.
In the early 1960s, Virsaladze attended Neuhaus's class at the Moscow Conservatory shortly before his death.
