Heinrich Neuhaus was Konstantin Ganev's teacher at the Moscow Conservatory. Ganev studied there with Neuhaus from 1950 to 1956, after graduating from the Bulgarian Conservatory in 1948 in Tamara Yankova's piano class.
Neuhaus is also listed among the teachers whose class included Konstantin Ganev.
