Heinrich Neuhaus was Margarita Fyodorova's teacher. After she continued her musical education in the class of E. K. Nikolayeva, from the 8th class of the Central Music School she studied in Neuhaus's class, after Nikolayeva showed her to him.
Fyodorova graduated from the Moscow Conservatory with honors in 1951 and then studied in postgraduate courses from 1951 to 1955 in the class of Heinrich Neuhaus. Neuhaus is also listed among the students of his class at the Moscow Conservatory, which included Margarita Fyodorova.
