Heinrich Schwemmer studied under Johann Erasmus Kindermann after moving to Nuremberg in 1641. He received his musical training from Kindermann at the Sebaldusschule, where Kindermann was recognized as one of the most important teachers of the Nuremberg school. This apprenticeship formed a foundational part of Schwemmer’s musical education and contributed to his later role as a prominent teacher in Nuremberg.
