Joseph Joachim → Bronislaw Huberman

In 1892, Bronislaw Huberman went to Berlin to study under Joseph Joachim. Lessons began in the autumn, but Joachim was often absent; dissatisfied with instruction from Joachim’s assistant Marquis, Huberman secretly studied with Joachim’s pupil Karl Gregorovich. Huberman’s studies in Berlin lasted eight months, ending in the spring of 1893.
