Maria Voskresenskaya graduated from the Moscow Conservatory in Lev Naumov's class. Naumov taught at the Moscow Conservatory from 1955 until the end of his life and led his own special piano class from 1963; Voskresenskaya is listed among the pianists who studied in his class.
