Igor Gaidenko studied piano under Natalia Eshchenko at the Kharkiv Institute of Arts. He was a student in her piano class and graduated from the institution in 1985.
Natalia Eshchenko, who taught at the Kharkiv University of Arts (formerly the Institute of Arts) from 1947 to 2006, is recognized as one of the primary instructors who shaped Gaidenko's early musical education.
