Saverio Valente → Vincenzo Lavigna

Vincenzo Lavigna studied under Saverio Valente at the Naples Conservatory of Santa Maria di Loreto. From 1790 to 1799, having entered the institution at the age of twelve, Lavigna received training in singing and composition under the guidance of Valente, who was then a long-serving maestro at the conservatory. This period of instruction formed part of Lavigna’s foundational musical education before he later moved to Milan and began his professional career.
