Tatiana Goldfarb's first husband was Moisey Abramovich Grinberg, a musicologist and artistic director of the Moscow State Philharmonic. They had a daughter, journalist Maria Moiseyevna Grinberg, born in 1939.
Grinberg was buried with Goldfarb at Novodevichy Cemetery in Moscow.
