Antonina Gai was a Soviet singer, a mezzo-soprano, and a music teacher. She was an Honored Artist of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic.
She studied under Nina Dorliak. During her performing career, she worked in the opera theaters of Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, and Leningrad.
From 1963, Gai was a soloist of the Yaroslavl Philharmonic. She was also a diploma recipient of the All-Union Competition of Vocalists.
In addition to her stage career, she taught at the Yaroslavl Theater School.
