Arbo Valdma is an Estonian-Serbian pianist and music educator. He graduated from the Tallinn Conservatory, where he studied with Bruno Lukk, and completed postgraduate studies at the Moscow Conservatory under Nina Yemelyanova. From 1970, he taught at the Tallinn Conservatory.
In 1979, Valdma moved to Yugoslavia and began teaching at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, where he became head of department in 1989. From 1984, he also taught at the University of Arts in Belgrade, becoming head of department in 1992. His Serbian students included pianist Nataša Veljković. He also taught at the Cologne University of Music, where Søren Nils Eichberg studied with him, and at his own Academy of Piano Art in Geneva. In 1991, the Estonian Academy of Music awarded him an honorary doctorate. Pärnu named him an honorary citizen in 2017.
