Felix Konopasek was a Polish composer, conductor, and music teacher. He was born in Chernivtsi on May 22, 1860, and died in Ryglice on July 28, 1930.
He studied in Warsaw with Rudolf Strobl, piano, and Zygmunt Noskowski, composition. He conducted various instrumental and choral ensembles in Warsaw and taught at the Warsaw Higher School of Music.
His best-known works include the fairy tale Children and Toads for male chorus and a Sonata for Violin and Piano.
