Jacoba Catharina Adriana Dhont (28 October 1879 – 24 November 1964) was a Dutch singer with an alto voice and a vocal teacher. She was born in Middelburg to the shopkeeper Jan Cornelis Marinus Dhont and Catharina Adriana van Sluijs. In 1907, she married Sem Dresden; their son Anton Dresden became a cellist and pianist.
Dhont studied music with Carl Johann Cleuver in Middelburg and with Cornelie van Zanten at the Amsterdam Conservatory. She was already appearing on stage during her studies, performing in operettas and operas, including The Marriage of Figaro in Middelburg and Parsifal in Amsterdam.
She followed Van Zanten to Berlin, where she performed in Johann Sebastian Bach's St Matthew Passion and gave concerts at the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. She subsequently sang in other cities in Germany and the Netherlands. After continuing for a time as a concert singer, she focused on teaching voice at the Amsterdam Conservatory until 1937 and, from that year, at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. Her pupils included Elly Ameling, Herman Mulder, and Michel Gobets.
