Pyotr Kirichek (1902–1968) was a Soviet bass-baritone singer. He graduated from the Moscow Conservatory in 1934.
From 1935 to 1944, Kirichek was a soloist at the Bolshoi Theatre. He subsequently concentrated on concert performances, presenting programmes of romances and songs by contemporary composers. In 1960, he was named an Honoured Artist of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic.
His recorded and performed repertoire included “Sormovo Lyric Song,” “Farewell, Rocky Mountains,” “On the Long Road,” “Under the Golden Moon,” and “A Song of the Capital.” He also appeared in films as a singing sailor in The Death of the Eagle and as a cheerful singing sailor at the end of The Sea Hawk.
In his youth, Kirichek was briefly married to the pianist Maria Grinberg, who also performed as his accompanist. His ashes were placed in the columbarium at Vvedenskoye Cemetery.
