Sergey Tarasov is a Russian pianist.
He won the 7th Prague Spring International Piano Competition in 1988. In 1995, he was awarded second prizes at the Ferruccio Busoni Competition and the Arthur Rubinstein Competition.
In 1996, Tarasov won the Sydney International Piano Competition. He later received fourth prize at the 1998 International Tchaikovsky Competition and won Premio Jaén in 1999.
