Władysław Pachulski was a Polish pianist, composer, and violinist. He was born in the village of Łazy on October 12, 1855, and studied with Ivan Grzhimali.
After 1874, Pachulski moved to Russia and taught Polish and music to the family of Nadezhda von Meck, taking part in their private concerts. He later became von Meck’s personal secretary and married her daughter Julia. He also sometimes served as an intermediary between von Meck and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, whom she patronized. Pachulski died in Moscow in 1919.
