Ksenia Dorliak was the mother of Nina Dorliak. Nina received her initial musical education from her mother, graduated from the Moscow Conservatory in 1932 in Ksenia Dorliak's class, and completed postgraduate studies there in 1935 under her mother's supervision.
They are buried at the Novodevichy Cemetery in Moscow, alongside Nina's brother Dmitry.
