Vladimir Pukhalsky → Vladimir Horowitz

Vladimir Horowitz studied under Vladimir Pukhalsky at the Kiev Music School, which was transformed into the Kiev Conservatory in September 1913. He entered the school in January 1913 and completed his studies there in 1920, though he did not receive a diploma. Horowitz's mother, Sofia Yakovlevna Horowitz, was also a graduate of Pukhalsky's class at the Kiev Music School.
