Eugeniusz Ryb, born Eugeniusz Augustovich Ryb, was a Russian composer, violinist, conductor, and music teacher of Polish origin. He was born in Warsaw on July 1, 1859, and died there on March 15, 1924.

He graduated from the Warsaw Musical Institute, where he studied violin with Apollinary Kontski. He then entered the St. Petersburg Conservatory, completing violin studies with Leopold Auer in 1883 with the rank of free artist, and finishing studies in composition theory with Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov in 1885.

From 1885 he taught composition theory at the Kyiv Music School of the Russian Musical Society branch. Among his students were Reinhold Gliere, Kyrylo Stetsenko, Oleksandr Koshyts, and Volodymyr Pol. From 1913 to 1919 he was a professor at the Kyiv Conservatory.

Ryb also performed in a string quartet that gave annual chamber music concert series in two cycles. He conducted symphony concerts of the Russian Musical Society and compiled a number of textbooks on music theory.

As a composer, he wrote a number of chamber instrumental works. His selected compositions include the opera Branka, the symphonic picture Night in Ukraine, and Ten Mazurkas for Piano from 1917.
